« Superman Returns Tomorrow, Tuesday the 27th, at Special 10pm & Midnight Shows | Main | Superman Returns - Now Playing Everywhere! » June 27, 2006Superman Returns Opening Night Contest!Giving audiences another reason to look forward to the film’s opening night, the Studio will be rewarding some enthusiastic and very imaginative Superman fans with a “First Show, First Night” contest to be held in select cities from coast to coast. Fans who line up for the very first showing of the movie on tonight are being asked to brandish Superman’s instantly identifiable S-Shield in some innovative way. The most creative fan in each city will be chosen as the winner, and he or she and a guest will be flown to England to attend the London premiere of Superman Returns on July 13th. The contest, which is a new angle of the Studio’s “Show Us Your S” campaign, will be held at one theatre location in each market. The theatres and the judges, as well as details of the London trip, will be announced locally. The “Show Us Your S” promotion is a unique interactive campaign in which Superman supporters can visit the MySpace page at www.myspace.com/supermanreturns and upload their favorite photos of themselves with the Superman iconic S Shield symbol. Since its first day, more than 10,000 fans have posted their photos, and approximately 1.7 million people have viewed the photos that have been uploaded.
