I Am Legend: Survival is a multiplayer first-person shooter / RPG game playable in the 3D virtual world Second Life. The game transports players into an eerie replica of over 60 acres of New York City set in the chaotic year preceding the movie, I Am Legend.
Play at 10am PST / 1pm EST on October 12.
I Am Legend: Survival is a multiplayer first-person shooter / RPG game playable in the 3D virtual world Second Life. The game transports players into an eerie replica of over 60 acres of New York City set in the chaotic year preceding the movie, I Am Legend.
You can use the Snapshot button in Second Life, or use "Ctrl-Shift-S" to take a snapshot of your current screen in I Am Legend: Survival.
Make sure the "Send a Postcard" button is checked.
When you have the photo you want to send, click the "Send" button at the bottom. A new window will appear:
Be sure to enter: iamlegendsurvival@gmail.com as the recipient's email address.
Fill in the title of the photo and any comments you'd like to add. Then hit "Send".

I Am Legend: Survival requires teamwork to survive the mean streets of NYC - and Second Life lets you create player groups to communicate with friends, share information, and more. We'll be spotlighting player-made groups focusing on I Am Legend: Survivor, so if you and your friends have your own group, drop a line inworld to Cory Edo!

What is the name of your I Am Legend: Survivor group?
F.E.A.R - IAL:S
Is your group focused on role playing, providing a way for your friends to coordinate gameplay on a private channel, or something else?
We are mainly a roleplaying group and a group of friends. We all communicate on a vent server and work together to salvage stuff for our survival. We work together as a unit to find the cure and to find safe spots for the whole group.
How many members are in your group? Is your group open enrollment (anyone can join), closed to friends, can people request an invite?
8. We have 5 elites (owners/founders), the elites are the ones that founded the group together and started playing together. We also have other friends and people in the city that come along with us. We are a request group, if someone needs our help we will invite them to our group as a survivor and give them a hand when needed.
Does your group play more as Uninfected or Infected, or is it open to any player class?
We are a group of organised uninfected humans, although we do accept police dogs to help.
Tell us in your own words a little about your group, especially if you are role playing roles - what is your group's story?
We all started in the city together and worked together from day one. We decided to make the group to give other uninfected a chance to live and help out others. The elites are the main men, we are the ones that do the job, get in there, get out with the job done and no lives lost. We help the needy and work together to find the cure to save the human race.
What do you and your group enjoy most about the I Am Legend: Survival game?
We mainly came to IAL:S to roleplay. We are all from a roleplaying back-ground and as we started playing about in the city, we decided to make a roleplay out of it, after all, that's what it is. Roleplaying that your the few uninfected humans left on earth and it's up to you to save the world.
